Obit - Lars Palm died at the
home of his son, L.J. Palm, in the South ward, last Sunday morning, at the
advanced age of 85 yrs, 11 mo, 12 days. The father and son came to Oconto
from Sweden, arriving here on July 4, 1873. The deceased was a rugged man
retaining his mental faculties and physical strength in extraordinary degree
to the last moment. His death was due to his years. Funeral services were at
the Palm residence on Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Rosewalt of Marinette,
who betimes serves the Scandinavian Church in this City.
