Final Rites Held For Louis H. Giese
A native of Suamico, he was born Jan. 3, 1896. He spent most of his life in Oconto County. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Breed. He married the former Myrtle Ramsdall in January of 1919. She died in 1949. He then married the former Irene Lesch in 1956. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Richard Zieries of Embarrass, four sons, Delbert of Green Gay, Elton, Elmer and Chester of Rt. 1, Suring. Also two brothers, Frederick of Oconto Falls and Carl of Saukville; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Scanlan of Oconto, Mrs. John Otradovec of Lena, Mrs. Joseph Papelka of Hayward; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Two daughters and a son died previously. Friends called at the Soulek Funeral Home at Suring on Wednesday, March 23. Final rites were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, The Rev. Floyd Gogolin officiated. Burial was in the Breed Cemetery
