The former Loretta D. Haen was born Jan. 8, 1910, in Sheboygan, a daughter of William and Anna Oldenburg Haen. On April 11, 1931, she married Wilfred Carriveau, also of Sheboygan, at Holy Name Catholic Church. Mr. Carriveau died Dec. 7, 1944. Mrs. Carriveau was employed in the dietary department at St. Nicholas Hospital until her retirement.
Surviving are three sons. Delmar and Charles, both of Sheboygan, and Wayne of Clarksburg, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Lucille) Richter of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Frank (Verona] Geyer and Mrs. Stanley (Clara) Maceman, both of Racine. Two sons, a granddaughter, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Private family memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. David Braun, pastor of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, will officiate. The cremated remains will be interred at Calvary Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Carriveau's name.
