Lucille M. (Heroux) Belongia, 86, 100 Park Ave., Oconto, passed away June 22, 2000 at Oconto Memorial Hospital.

Lucille was born February 18, 1914 at Oconto to the late Edward and Mary (Hazen) Heroux. She married Wilton Belongia October 12, 1935. Lucille was a member of Holy Trinity Parish (lifelong member at St. Peters) and St. Anne Society. She was an avid card player and loved to crochet.

Survivors include her husband, Wilton, of 65 years; two daughters, Patricia (Ray) Detaege of Green Bay and Helen Belongia of Green Bay; one brother, Mike (Elaine) Heroux of Oconto; one granddaughter, Becki Detaege of DePere; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cecil Heroux of Peshtigo, Alfred (Dutch) Zimmerman of Oconto, Conrad (Gen) Sylvester of Suamico, Delores Kaster of Green Bay, Pearl Bauers of Kenosha, Vester (Gertrude) Belongia of Oconto, Rosemary Belongia of Kenosha, Eldon Larson of Bloomington, MN, Faye Schultz of Rochester, MN, Edna Belongia of Green Bay; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held at the Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Friday with St. Anne Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Parish Wake Service at 7:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Peter's Site, with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the Holy Trinity Parish New Church Building Fund.
