Leonard Hansel(1931 - 2016)

Hansel, Leonard

Leonard "Len" Hansel 85, Lena passed away peacefully with his family by his side Saturday September 10, 2016. He was born May 11, 1931 in Two Rivers to the late Edward and Emily (Ducat) Hansel. On September 1, 1951 Len married Aldona Klivickis at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Coleman. He was a dairy farmer and worked at various jobs throughout the years. Len was an avid woodworker, traveler, liked taking care of his chickens and loved having a good time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Aldona; 6 children Michael (Jeanne) Hansel, Oconto; Catherine (Richard) Dugan, Lena; Teresa (John) Holowich, Morrisville, PA; Steve (Sandra) Hansel, Lena; Barbara McClain (Tom Marcusen), Porterfield; Debra (Steven) Westenberg, Oconto; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law Vallee Mae Hansel, FL; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson; 1 brother Leroy and 1 sister Laverne Yakubic. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4-7 pm Friday October 7, 2016 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena. Memorial Service 7 pm Friday October 7, 2016 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Kuhn officiating. Please visit www.rhodescharapata.com to express online condolences.
