Lucille E. Gretz TACHICK

Lucille E. Tachick, 89, of 12053 County Rd. Z, Pound, died Saturday, February 5, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.

Lucille was born September 3, 1910 in the town of Pound to Clarence and Minnie (Paiz) Graetz. She was married to Gust Tachick on September 19, 1927, in Pound. They were married 60 years when he preceded her in death in 1987. They operated, a farm in the town of Brazeau in Oconto County. Lucille enjoyed making rugs, quilts, gardening, picking berries, making sweet rolls, jams and jellies. She ran a market at her house. She was a member of the Goldhorn Homemakers for 43 years, was a youth leader, was church pianist and taught Sunday School at the Assembly of God Church, Pound. She was a member of the Women's Ministries and member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church both of Crivitz.

Surviving are four children, Beatrice. Shevy, Lois (Russell) Kostreva, Irwin (Carolyn) Tachick, and Marvin (Beverly) Tachick all of Pound; 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; and four great greatgrandchildren; her stepmother, Edna Graetz of Arizona; four brothers, Loren (Florence) Graetz of Pound, Lloyd (Geraldine) Graetz of Waterlou, IA; Emmett (Violet) Graetz, of Pound, Harold (Edith) Graetz of Pound; and two sisters, Angeline (Ed) Johnston of Marinette and Lorraine Timm of Pound.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Bernice Rakowski; one grandchild and one great- great-grandchild.

Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman where a prayer service was held. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Trinity Assembly of God Church, Crivitz. Rev. John Koch officiated with burial, in First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
