She was born in Tony, Wisconsin (Rusk County) February,16, 1921 to the late Frank and Mary (Tway) Gordon. Lola Gordon graduated from the Ladysmith High School with the Class of 1939. She married Earl F. Michael in her home town on October 6, 1948. Following marriage the couple lived in Suring. until moving to Shawano in 1966. Lola enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, and feeding squirrels. Previously she had been an active member at Hickory Church of Christ, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and Deaconess until Earl preceded her in death on June 21, 1992.
Survivors include her two sons and their families, Wesley (Linda) Michael of Green Bay, Gordon (Barbara) Michael and their children Scott and Ashlei all of Shawano; her two sisters, Pearl Gordon and Lucille, Hottenstine both of Shawano.
Visitation was held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Green Bay with Pastor Bruce Colson officiating. Burial in Hickory Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home, Suring, in charge of arrangements.
