Lloyd E. SHEVY, 78, of W10958 W. 4th Road, Pound, WI, died Sunday, February 21, 1999 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
He was born October 30, 1920 in the town of Beaver (WI) to the late Mike and Mollie (TACHICK) SHEVY. Lloyd farmed his entire life in the town of Beaver, retiring from farming in 1996. He was also employed by Patz Co. as a machine operator for 28, retiring in 1985. He married Beatrice V. TACHICK on April 20, 1951 at Pound. Lloyd's favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and enjoying his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; three daughters, Doris SHEVY, Elsie SHEVY and Darlene (Dan) KARL, all of Pound; one son, Arnold SHEVY of Pound; three grandchildren, Amanda, Shelly and Danny KARL; one brother, Albert (Tressa) SHEVY of Pound; one sister, Beatrice HEISEL of Coleman, WI; one sister-in-law, Janet SHEVY of Pound; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mollie SHEVY; two brothers, August and Arthur SHEVY, and one grandson, Chad Jeremy KARL.
Visitation will be held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. James Frisby officiating. Burial will be in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
