She was born to Timothy and Lisa (Meyer) Peetz February 1, 1983. Leanne graduated from Lena High School May 31, 2001. She enjoyed farming, four wheeling, snowmobiling, sports and having a good time with her family and friends. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena. Leanne will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Surviving are her parents, Timothy and Lisa Peetz, Lena; one brother, Darek at home; maternal grandparents Leo, Jr. and Carol Meyer, Crivitz; paternal grandmother, Marlene Peetz, Lena; aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Peter Peetz, Sr., Aunt, Rosanne Peetz, and great-grandparents, Leo, Sr. and Olga Meyer.
Friends called on Friday at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena. A parish vigil service was held. The Funeral Mass was held Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena at 11 a.m. with Father Harold Beerntsen officiating. Interment at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Lena.
