Lucille Broderick, 87, of River Forest, IL and formerly Pound, WI passed June 17, 1999 at Altenheim Nursing Home in Forest Park, IL. She was born Jan. 20, 1912 in Pound to the late Gottlieb and Bertha (Stanke) Broderick. She was a retired 20 year employee of the U.S. Life Insurance Co. of Chicago.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Piencikowski of Oak Park, IL. and Irene Broderick of Milwaukee; two sisters-in-law, Angeline Broderick and Elmer and Ella Broderick, both of Pound; one niece, Geneva Allard of Oak Park, IL, and one cousin, Louise Helwig of Oak Park, IL.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Ed and Elmer Broderick.
Visitation was held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday. Funeral services were held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. James Frisby of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in the First Baptist Cemetery- , Pound.
