Luke Anthony Meverden, 40, formerly of Oconto Falls and Green Bay, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, in Hollywood, FL.
He was born November 21, 1960, in Oconto Falls, WI to Franca S. Meverden and the late Glenn F. Meverden. He married Wendy Stettler on November 19, 1995 in Hollywood, FL.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glenn Meverden, Green Bay, WI; five daughters, Katie Meverden, Pulaski, WI; Patricia Meverden and Sarah Meverden, both of Florida; Rachel Katz and Norma Bears, both of Hollywood, FL; three brothers, Rev. Andrew Meverden, Aurora, CO; Mathew Meverden and Mark Meverden, both of Copperas Cove, TX; four sisters, Carla Tanguay, Menasha, WI; Theresa Vorphal-Hoffman, Seymour, WI; Christine Sutrick, Green Bay, WI; and Bernadette Walber, Plymouth, WI; his mother, Franca S. Meverden, Green Bay, WI; one grandson, Jacob Meverden, Pulaski, WI; many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, the late Glenn F. Meverden. The family received visitors from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, Hollywood, FL, who was in charge of arrangements. Services for Luke were 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andrew Meverden officiating. Burial followed at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens North Cemetery in Hollywood, FL.
