Kenneth W. Trepanier, 62, of Shawano, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, from injuries received in a house fire.
He was born September 25, 1937, at Oconto, the son of Ralph Trepanier and the late Florence (McIntosh) Trepanier. He served with the United States Air Force and was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was married on October 5, 1963 at Port Washington, WI to Joyce Keller. She preceded him in death on July 18, 1999. They owned and operated Kena€™s South Side Grocery for many years and he was employed by the City of Shawano Street Department, retiring in 1999.
Survivors include his daughter, Michele (Roger) Genke of Shawano; one son Todd (special friend Terri Radtke) of Shawano; grandchildren, Randa and Chanden Genke, Kaylan and Keegan Gast all of Shawano; his father, Ralph Trepanier of Oconto; three sisters, Arlen (John) Pacourek of Coleman, Carol Jean (Richard) Lebreck of Lakewood, Terese Trepanier of Oconto.
Funeral services were Friday, May 12, at 11a.m. at Swedberg Funeral Home of Shawano with Father Len Evers officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post 117. Friends called at Swedberg Funeral Home.
