Kurt W. Eslien, 24, DePere, formerly of Oconto Falls, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 12, 1999.

He was born October.3, 1974 in Oconto Falls to Howard J. and Marilyn (Low) Eslien. Kurt grew up in Oconto Falls where he attended public schools. He was currently employed in the construction business in the Green Bay area. Kurt was an avid Packer fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking in the woods, downhill skiing, gourmet cooking and raising plants.

Survivors are his infant daughter, Madyson whom he dearly loved; fiance, Jennifer Rotter, DePere; parents, Atty. Howard J. and Marilyn Eslien, Oconto Falls; three sisters, Tanya Eslien, a senior student at Marquette Univer- sity in Milwaukee; Mei Ling and 'nffany Eslien both at home; paternal grandparents, Howard W. and Bernice Eslien, Chute Pond; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Stella Low, Vancouver, British Columbia; his aunts and uncles, godparents, many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Tommy Low and two uncles, Daniel Rider and Clyde Low.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 18, 1999 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oconto. Falls with Frs. William Stengel and Arthur Danks concelebrating. Burial in the church cemetery.

A memorial fund will be established in Kurt's name in the near future.
