Kathryn Olivia Allard, 90, Oconto Falls, died on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 at Sharpe Care, Ltd. in Oconto Falls. Kathryn was born on August 25, 1908 in Maple Valley. She was the daughter of the late James and Amanda "Lena" (Ericsson) Slang. On December 18, 1943, Kathryn was united in marriage to Edward Allard in Milwaukee, Wl. Edward preceded her in death on June 4, 1967. Kathryn enjoyed many activities especially cooking where she catered many events in the Milwaukee area. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Oconto Falls and had been a member of the women of the church during her early days at the church.

Kathryn is survived by one brother, Orvil (Dora) Slang, of Suring; three sisters, Agnes Rakow of Pasadena, CA; Frances (Ben) Gulbranson of Lancaster, CA; Alice Johnson, Green Bay; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie Ver Burgge, Esther Johnson and Caroline Jacobson, and one brother, Albert Slang.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Jones Funeral Service, Oconto Falls, assisted the family with arrangements.
