Kenneth A. Schneider, 69, Gillett, died Monday evening, November 22, 1999. He was born February 13, 1930, in the Town of Gillett, to Harold J. and Martha (Buhrandt) Schneider. Ken served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until 1956. On September 28, 1957, Kenneth was united in marriage to Leola A. Kasten at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett, where he was a life long member. He drove bus, in the Gillett School District, for 22 years. He was a past member of the Town and City of Gillett Fire Departments. Ken is survived by his wife, Leola, Gillett; his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa (Ed) Wilbur, Stevens Point; Kate (Jamie) Wetzel, Gillett; three grandchildren; one sister, Corrine, Gillett; and one brother, Gale, Oconto Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold, in 1992; and Martha, in 1964. Friends called at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hwy. H, town of Gillett, Friday after 12 noon, Funeral services were conducted 3 p.m. Friday, November 26, 1999, at the church with Deacon Ralph Beversdorf officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, assisted Ken's family with the arrangements.
