Oconto Falls-Mrs. Charles Garnier, 68, passed away suddenly at her home here on Monday evening August 1, following an internal hemorrhage.

She was born Katherine Hoffmann March 25, 1864, in Alsace, France, and was married in that country to Charles Garnier. They came to the community about 48 years ago and have resided here ever since.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters and four sons. They are Mrs. Ernest Magnin and Mrs. Orrie Saunders, and Alfred, George, Gaston and Fred Garnier, all of Oconto Falls. Two daughters and one son preceded their mother in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Julia Capelle of Sedan and Mrs. Caroline Russell of Charville, both in France, also survive. A niece, Mrs. Andrew Motch and her husband of Menominee, Mich. Are here for the funeral. Services were held this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Orrie Saunder and from the Methodist Episcopal church, the Rev V.T. Nearhoof officiating. Pallbearers were her sons and Messrs. Magnin and Saunders. Interment was in Woodlawn cemetery.
