KENNETH ECKBERG

MR. KENNETH ECKBERG, 65, Green Bay, died peacefully Mon- day, January 10, 2000.

He was born on April 10, 1934 ,in Oconto, to the late Eric and Mary Eckberg. Ken married the former Janice Neerdaels on May 7, 1955 at St. Joseph Church in Green Bay. He attended St. Joseph's,grade school and Oconto High School. He was employed at Northwest engineering for 32 years. He was the past president of Local 7389 United Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed his grandkids, Packer games, swimming, barbecuing and driving his "64" Mustang convertible.

Survivors include his wife of 44. years, Jan; five children, Mike and Gail Patenaude, Oconto; Sandy Solper, Wrightstown; Don and Lynn Rogers, Gillett; Anita Mier, Lena; Jim and Renee Eckberg, Oakfield; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Eric Eckberg, Newell; one sister-in-law, Betty Eckberg, Green Bay; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by twin infant grandsons, Erik and Ethan, and one brother, Clarence.

The family received relatives and friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay. Memorial service was 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Ken Augustine offici- ating. Ken will be sadly missed. by family and friends.
