She was born May 11, 1908, in Illinois, to the late John and Augusta (Langer) Drover. On June 6, 1936, Katherine married Frank J. Ratajczak in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Ratajczak resided in Chicago until 1949, when they moved to Green Valley, where they farmed until 1967. They then moved to Gillett. Frank preceded Katherine in death July 18, 1988. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Gillett and the Altar Society.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Shirley Pulley, Green Bay; her grandchildren Craig (Lynn) Pulley, Sheryl Davenport (special friend, Charles Land), Kevin (Micki) Pulley, Mark Pulley (special friend, Tami Jandrey), Kim, Dawn, Kay, Ryan and Amber Pulley, all of Green Bay; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Ratajczak on September 5, 1992; one infant great-granddaughter; one brother, Joseph Drover; three sisters Loretta Drover, Margaret Jendrascak, Mabel Khula.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. John M. Gallagher officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
