Oconto-Funeral services for Kenneth A. Noonan, 47, will be conducted at
the Shefield Funeral Home Thursday. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery
at Oconto. The American Legion will conduct graveside rites.
Mr. Noonan, prominent in Democratic Party activities in Oconto County,
died suddenly at his home on Main Street Sunday afternoon following a heart
attack.
He was born in Oconto on May 7, 1907 and was a graduate of St. Joseph
Parochial School and Oconto High School. He had been well known in the
Oconto area for his activities in baseball, golf and bowling and had managed
the local alleys and a bowling alley at Cincinnati, Ohio., after his discharge
from service in 1945.
