She taught in the Oconto Falls schools for five years. Her marriage to Clarence Ryan took place April 19th, 1922, and they resided in Iron Mountain. She also taught in the Iron Mountain school system for a number of years, retiring in 1962.
She is survived by three sons, Michael of Iron Mountain, Dennis of Davison, Michigan and Terrence of Beaver Dam; and two daughters, Patricia, Mrs. Charles Nelson of Iron Mountain, Geraldine, Mrs. Ed Collette of Niagara; a brother Charles Western of Kelly Lake and a sister, Mrs. Helen Kadlec of Oconto Falls. She also leaves nine grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held in Iron Mountain on Friday morning, and were attended by a number of folks from Kelly Lake and the Falls.
