Jason was born in Rhinelander on November 1, 1976. He had attended the Wabeno schools and had worked at the Northern Lights Casino, Carter. He enjoyed drawing, artwork, playing guitar, four wheeling and playing pool. He was the son of Mary Shepard Grabowski and Richard Mexico. Further survivors include one son, Alexander Bodde, Mattoon, WI; three sisters, Gordy Jo Mexico and Richelle Mexico both of West Allis, Christina Bodde, Nevada City, NV; two brothers, Richie Harris, Carter, Jeffrey Bodde, Nevada City, NV; his father, Jeffrey Bodde, Rockland, CA; stepfather, Scott Grabowski; grandparents, Betty Bodde, Townsend, Louis and Elaine Shepard, Wabeno. Also survived by aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Monday at the Shepard home in Wabeno. Native American Services were conducted by Mr. Pete Pemma on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 12 noon at the Shepard residence. Interment at the Shepard cemetery, Carter. Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno assisted the family.
