.John V.Smurawa was born July 16,1896 in the Town of Maple Grove,and resided there all his life. He married Bernice Jankowski Sept.28,1920 on Pulaski. John was a member of St micheal Society and Holy Name Society, of Pulaski Assumption BVM.
Survivors are his wife Bernice; four sons, Edward at home; Arthur, Pulaski, John of Milwaukee; Ferfine, Green Bay; five daughters Mrs. Edwin [Lorraine] Betly, of Green Bay, Sister Geraldine of Pulaski; Sister Elaine,Stevens Point, Mrs Joseph {Theresa} Jankowski and Miss Bernardine Smurawa, both of Miwaukee; 25 granchildren; one brother Louis, of Pulaski one sister Mrs Katherine Bartkowiak ,Pulaski;
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in
death. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski after 2pm Wedneday.
Wake service 8pm. Wedneday. Funeral 10am Thursday at Assumption BVM Church,
Pulaski Rev. Herbert Silko officating. Burial in church cemetery.
