Swiecichowski Funeral at Pulaski,
Joseph S., 81

Funeral services will be feld at 9:30 Wednesday morning for Joseph Swiecichowski, 81, who died in Green Bay Hospital Sunday morning after a brief illness. Born in Poland on March 10, 1862, to Matthew and Mary [Peplinski] and came to this country, as a a young man, with his parents and settled in Hofa Park in 1880. In 1893 he married the former Agnes Zigmanski-Zygmanski [Contributor's Note: her parents Valintine Zygmanski and Mary Peplinski were the first four pioneer families who came to Hofa Park in 1877. They were 99 yrs old and 101 yrs old when they died and are buried in Milwaukee church!].

Joseph operated a farm in Hofa Park. His wife Agnes died March 25,1932, in Hofa Park. Joseph was a member of the Rosary Society and the Third Order of St. Francis. . The RevClemensBarczak will conduct the rites at St. Stanislaus church with buial in the church cemetery the body was taken to the home from the Manrocha funeral home today and the rosary willbe recited tonight.

Survivors included seven daughters; Mrs. Helena {John] Wilinski, Sr, Mrs. Sophie [Leo] Kaczmarowski, Mrs. Betty [John] Klimaszewski, all of Pulaski, Mrs. Dora [Mike] Cheslock, Mrs. Mary [Leo] Klezewski and Mrs. Anna [Frank] Kaminecki all of Bariarton, and Mrs. Vera [Stanley] Jach, Hofa Park. Four sons: Peter {Rose} Milwaukee, John {Helen] Roselawn, Bernard [Helen] of Elm Lawn, Frank [Vicky] at home, and 49 grand children and 24 greatgrandchildren.

Preceded in death were his parents Matthew in 1905 and Mary abt 1889, his brother John in 1938, a son Joseph in 1905 and his wife Agnes in 1932 in Hofa Park [Contributor's Note: she was killed feeding wild ducks at her home].
