Jane A. Shier Hendricks, 78, Gillett, died peacefully, Sunday February 18, 2001, at her home. She was born October 30, 1922, in the Town of Gillett, to the late Andrew and Eva John Shier. On December 26, 1953, Jane married George Hendricks in Oconto; he preceded her in death July 13, 1999.

Jane was a retired school teacher.

Survivors include one nephew, Ed Shier, Port Angeles, WA; one niece, Sandi Shier, Port Angeles, WA; one great-nephew, Jim Shier, Port Angeles, WA; Jane's family of special cousins: Evelyn Cox, Gllett; Jonna and Don Bostedt, Green Bay, and their sons: Rick, Tom, and Steve; Sandy Cota, Milwaukee; Richard E. Cox, Green Bay and his son, Joel; Angela Rickaby, Gillett; Laura Lamers, and her daughters: Sara and Emily, Gillett; David and Kim Runge and their daughter, Savannah, Seymour; Heather and Rod Fifield, Milwaukee, their daughter: Erin Dominic Frandrup and their son, Logan, Madison; Joel Kolderup, Gillett, and his daughters: Inga and Anna. Jane is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Galle Shier; one niece, Terri Shier; one nephew, Michaell Shier; cousins: Mae Kolderup, Harriet Olsen, Jim Bostedt, Lavern Cox and Andrea Cox Bayer.

Friends may call at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Wednesday after 10 a.m. Funeral services 12 noon, Wednesday, February 21, at the funeral home, with Pastor H.C. Skip Robertson officiating. Interment in Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett.
