She was born April 26, 1943, in LaGrange, IN, to the late Fred and Ruth (Fish) Rowlison.
On April 26,1987, Judy married Stewart A. Hertwig, in Gillett. She had been employed by several nursing homes in the area. She managed the former Dew Drop Inn, Gillett. At the time of her death, she operated Judy's Daycare in her home. Judy is survived by her husband: Stew, Gillett; two sons and daughters-in-law: Gerald and Jennie Tennant and their daughter, Sheena; Tim and Virginia Tennant and their daughter, Ashley, all of Gillette; four daughters and one son-in-law: Sonya Tennant, Crivitz and her children: Kevin, Jr., Cindy and Kyle Sutrick, of Klondike; and Steven Block, of Crivitz; Stacey Geark and her sons: Michael Geark and Brandon Berol Suring; Toni and Lyle Peterson, Pulcifer, and her children: Crystal and Tim Owens, of Indiana; Theresa Scott and her son Jeffery, Ft. Wayne, IN; her step children: Jody and Ed Olson and children: Nicole and Andrew, Gillett; Scott and Amy Hertwig and children: Casey and Nicholas, Pulcifer; three brothers: Ronny Rowlison, Phoenix, AZ; Danny Rowlison, Florida; Terry Byer, Ft. Wayne, IN; five sisters: Carolyn Smith, Elkhart, IN; Paula Holmes, LaGrange, IN; Jetta, Sarah, and Shirley, all of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons and one brother, Denny Rowlison. Friends may call at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Saturday after 9:00 A.M. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2001, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis N. Nelson officiating. Internment will take place in Indiana. Kuehl Funeral Home, eased, their burden during their time of need.
