Pioneer Resident of Little
Suamico Dies in Hospital
John Revolinski, a resident of Little Suamico for the past forty-six years,
passed away at the St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay, on Friday afternoon.
Mr. Revolinski was born in Rudna, Poland, in 1860. He came to this country
46 years ago, making his permanent home in Little Suamico. On October 23rd
he was walking along highway 41 when he was hit by a car driven by William
LaFave, from which he sustained a broken leg, broken ribs and internal
injuries which caused his death. He was sixty-seven years old. He leaves
to mourn his death twelve children, Mike at home, Frank, John, Sylvester
and Tony at Milwaukee, Joseph and Walter at home, Mrs. Francis Kleczka
at Suamico, Pauline Zielinski and Lucille Kaminski at Milwaukee, Martha
Stankiewicz at Pittsfield and Julia at home. Besides his children he leaves
twenty-four grandchildren. Burial was made from St. John Cantius Church
at Sobieski on Tuesday afternoon. Reverent Burnski officiated and interment
was made in the parish cemetery at Sobieski. the pallbearers were John
Hernet, George Bentley, John Wojciewski, Peter Gustowski, Steve Malecki
and August Shudrowicz.
