Mrs. Hugh Henry was called to Joliet, Illinois last Friday by the serious illness of her brother, James Ragen. He passed away Saturday morning, death being caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.. Also with him at the time of his passing was another sister, Mrs. Helen Cota of Gillett.

Funeral rites are being held on Thursday morning at St. Josephs Catholic Church at Oconto. High requiem being sung by the Rev. Fr. Alt. Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery with the Oconto Post of the American Legion in charge of the military honors due a veteran of the First World War.

Mr. Ragen was a member of the Joliet American Legion and also a Knights of Columbus. This lodge will attend the requiem mass in body.

The deceased was born November 12, 1890 at Oconto, Where he lived the greater share of his life. In later years he had been employed as a guard on the Government Locks at Joliet.

In addition to Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Cota, other survivors are three other sisters. Mrs. Otto Krause of Sobieski, Mrs. C. Murphy and Mrs. George DeCloux, both of Oconto.
