Funeral services were held at 9 Monday morning from the St. Patrick Catholic Church at Stiles with the Rev. Michael Fetko officiating and burial in the church cemetery.
The deceased was born at Stiles, February 22, 1913 and graduated from the Oconto Falls high school in 1931. He had been employed by the Foral garage the last six years, where he died while in the act of selling a car to a customer.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James P. McCarthy Sr., and five sisters, Mrs. Frank Sleman and Mrs. Laurence Tappa, Green Bay; Mrs. Patrick Jones, Wausau; and Marion and Betty at home.
