Veteran Resident Of Town Of Stiles Dies  
 

A lifelong resident of the town of Stiles, John R. Leigh, 80, passed away at the Oconto Hospital Tuesday afternoon from a stroke suffered Sunday. Funeral services are to be held Thursday afternoon from the McQueen chapel here with Rev. Thomas Smart, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial wil be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Leigh was born in the town of Stiles on April 15, 1858 and lived there his entire life engaged in farming until he retired a few years ago. He is survived by a sister Beatrice, and one brother, Charles, both of Stiles. Pallbearers for funeral services will be Ed MacAllister, Milwaukee, Tom MacAllister, Green Bay, Grover Pamperin, Green Bay, Claude Van Hefty and Harry Steinkrause, Abrams, and Jack Devereaux, Little Rapids.
