FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY 
FOR PROMINENT OCONTO FALLS MATRON 

OCONTO FALLS - Funeral rites were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Adolph Lehner, 79, at the Soulek Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dale A. Jennings of the Methodist church officiated at the services and the interment took place in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Lehner was born Jennie Nelson in Marinette October 21, 1897. She was a graduate of WSU Oskosh, and taught before her marriage to Mr. Lehner on June 26, 1912 in Marinette.

She was a charter member of the Oconto Falls Woman's Club, served on the Oconto Falls Board of Education for some years, was a member of the Community Hospital Board, and was a Past Matron of Oconto Falls Chapter No. 132, Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in the Methodist Church and a member of the choir for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Atty, A. P. Lehner, a daughter, Eleanor, Mrs. Emery Ansorge of Gillett, a son Atty. Howard N. Lehner of Oconto Falls, two brothers, Arthur Nelson of Marinette, and Dr. George Nelson of Prophetstown, Illinois and four sisters, Mrs. Judith Harrod, the Misses Ethel, Hattie and Minnie Nelson, all of Marinette. She is further survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
