Ill for Month, Dies at Home 

Mrs. Orville Van Boven, 62, Stiles, died Friday morning at her home. She had been ill for the past month.

The former Josephine Matheys was born April 15, 1902, and lived all her live in Oconto county. she was married to Orville Van Boven in Waukegan, Ill., in 1923. he survives her.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Johnson, Norwich, New York and Mrs. George Taylor, St. Louis, Mo.; a son Raymond, with the U.S. Air Force in Germany; two brothers, Eugene Matheys, Green Bay, and John Matheys, Stiles; six sisters, Mrs. Irene Petersohn, Sheboygan; Mrs. James Nejedlo, Pilsen; Mrs. Richard Nejedlo, Green Bay; Mrs. William Schnese, Oconto Falls; Mrs. Elmer Gauthier, Two Rivers; and Mrs. Jack Phillips, R1 Oconto; and eight grandchildren.

The Rev. James Scott officiated at funeral rites Saturday afternoon at the Soulek funeral home, Oconto Falls. Burial was in the Stiles Cemetery.
