Jesse Muthig, 23, died Sunday, August 27, 2000, as the result of an automobile accident.

Jesse was born on July 20, 1977 in Appleton to Bonnie and Greg Muthig. He was a blackjack dealer at Northern Lights Casino, where he enjoyed many meaningful friendships. Jesse enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, and working on his Mustang.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Tuyls (friend Dean Konitzer), Gillett; his father, Greg (Patty) Muthig, Laona; his brothers and sisters, Rick Muthig, Gillett; Bill (Tracy) Muthig, Suamico; Tina Pagel, Gillett; and Nicole Muthig, Laona; his niece, Codie Muthig and nephew, Dalton Muthig; his maternal grandparents, Vivian and the late Roland Tuyls, Combined Locks; his paternal grandparents, Kay and the late Kenneth Muthig, Mountain; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his special friends Darald Meyers, Fred Pagel, and Mike Magee, and all his friends at the casino.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2000, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, with Deacon Craig Merrick officiating. Friends called directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment was in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in his name.

Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton assisted the family.
