Jeanette Olson, 82, 101 First St., Oconto died October 25, 2000 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation.

Jeanette was born April 12, 1918 at Chicago to the late Oscar and Marie (Detaege) Maes. She married Glyn Olson July 30, 1938; he preceded her in death June 9, 1993. Jeanette was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Altar Rosary Society and was past president of Oconto Women's Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue (Mark) Thompson, Oconto; Diane (Dale) Mortier, Oconto; four sons, Richard (Jean), Oconto; Tom (Carmen), Green Bay; William (Charlie), Fort Myers Beach, FL; Robert, Denver, CO; four sisters, Pat Hasslen, Gurnee; IL; Peg (Carlyle) Michelson, Oak Ridge, TN; Dee (Jay) Martin, Cochrane, WI; Sally (Cliff) Jensen, McAllen, TX; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister-in-1aw, Barbara Maes, Stevens Point; a brother-in-law, Herbert Boettcher, Bonduel; nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Maes, and a sister, Dorothy Boettcher.

Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto on Friday, October 27. Parish wake service was held. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Parish with Rev. Philip Hoffmann officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
