A former Stiles resident, John M. Hurley, brother of the late Mrs. James Wall of this city, and father of John D. Hurley, Lancing, Mich. Died in Chicago last week.

He was a Spanish American war veteran.

Mr. Hurley is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Alice Hurley, Milwaukee and six sisters, Mrs. Fred Fisher North Freedom, Wis., Mrs. Anthony Reick, Los Angles, Calif., and Mrs. Howard Mamele, Mrs. Harvey Rossow, Miss Helen Hurley and Miss Irene Hurley, all of Milwaukee. Also attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. G. Fitzgerald, Chicago, Mrs. C. Van Hammond, Oconto Falls, Mrs. Grace Alvard and Mrs. Ethel Kiley, daughters of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Rozenkrantz of Oconto Falls.

The requiem mass was held in St. Mathews church and interment at Calvary cemetery, Milwaukee beside his wife, who passed away twenty years ago.
