Judy Budzis
Judy Budzis, 69, of Crivitz passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. She was born
to the late Andrew and Delores Maciejczak on October 23, 1943 in Oconto,
Wisconsin. Judy graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962. On August
22, 1964 she married her high school sweetheart Michael R. Budzis.
Throughout the years, they had a family and made many of their dreams come
true. Judy worked at Sure Way/ Jubilee Foods as a service counter clerk for
35 years. Judy loved her job. She loved being around people and had a kind,
caring way about her. She was patient and understanding. In 1997 she retired
and moved Up North where she enjoyed her retirement. Judy loved to deer
hunt, fish and watch the Green Bay Packers. Judy loved to cook and bake.
Throughout the years she created many recipes of her own. She loved cake
decorating! She made many cakes for family and friends for special
occasions. But most of all, Judy loved spending time with her 3
grandchildren. They meant the world to her. She nurtured them and took care
of them like one of her own children! She loved them very much! Judy is
survived by her husband of 48 years Michael R. Budzis, two daughters,
Patricia M. Budzis and Michelle L. Budzis, 3 grandchildren, Trent, Britta
and Sophia, two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Maciejczak, Bruce (Mary) Maciejczak,
two sisters, Mary Boyce and Pat (Dave) Johnson, and many sisters and
brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Private services were held for
family members at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz.
