Mrs. Josephine Marith Dies At Lena Sunday  

Mrs. Josephine Marith, 77, died at the home of her son, Joseph, Coleman route 1 Sunday evening, following an illness of about a year. The body was brought to the Steffen funeral home. Funeral services were held from the Klondike Catholic church at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, the Rev. J. B. Gruno conducting, with internment in the Klondike Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Marith was born in Bohemia and came to this country at the age of four. She was married to Mr. Marith 61 years ago and the couple came to farm near here where they have since resided.

Survivors are the husband Jacob, four sons, Joseph and Edward at home, Frank of Saxon, William of Coleman, and one daughter Margaret at home.
