The daughter of the late Louis and Nary (Smithtana) Lentz was born March 24, 1947 in Marinette. Joyce was a 1965 graduate of Coleman High School and was married to Robert Olson on May 18, 1968 at the former St. John Catholic Church, Coleman. She was employed at Fort James Corp. in Green Bay and prior to that worked for Coleman Products in Coleman. Joyce was a member of St. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman.
Surviving are her, husband, Robert Olson; one daughter, Melissa (Brian)Olson of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Rachel and Cody; seven sisters, Anna (Ken)Engebretsen of Suamico, Shirley (Red)Seymour of Michigan, LaVerne (Bill) Webber of Michigan, Carol Stark of Pound, Mary Lou Lentz Of Green Bay, Karlene (Russell) Martens of Pound and Karen (Jerry) Korpi of Idaho; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Lentz.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman; a wake service was held. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman with Rev. John Hephner officiating. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman.
