John L. Follett, 75, of Peshtigo, WI, died Friday, March 3, 2000 at Bay Area Medical Center.
John was born on August 5, 1924 the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis (Emma Sedmerick) Follett. He married the former Shirley Luedtke in Peshtigo on August 2, 1947; she preceded him in death on June 7, 1981. John was employed at Badger Paper Mill, was a commercial fisherman and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by one brother, Ray Follett of Milwaukee; two sisters, Doris Boucher of Oconto, Marion Baraboo of Kenosha; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, William and Judy Luedtke of Peshtigo, Curt Luedtke of Marinette, Walter and Lila Wood of Marinette, Lorraine Luedtke of Peshtigo; a very dear friend, Betty Groesbeck of Menominee.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Marvin and Willie.
Visitation was on Tuesday, March 7, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 9 a.m. until time of services there at 12 noon. Pastor David Zahn officiated with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home served the family.
