Janet L. Couillard, age 56, of 1067 Jackson St., Marinette, died Thursday afternoon, October 15, 1992 at the Bay Area Medical Center. The former Janet Sobeski was born in Menominee June 10, 1936.

She was a 1954 graduate of Menominee High School. She had worked for Scott Paper for several years and at Emerson Electric for many years. She married Richard Couillard August 27, 1955 in Menominee

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dennis and Danny, both of Marinette; 2 daughters, Mary Lou (Paul) Fox, of Wallace, Mich., Jodi (Donn) Schomer, of Marinette; 1 brother William, of Sherden, Texas; 3 sisters, Patricia Gusick, of Del Ray Beach, Florida, Nancy Larsen, of Menominee, and Sally Walters, of Peshigo; 3 grandchildren. Three brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Thielen Funeral Home from 4 p.pm. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Lindblad will officiate.
