Pallbearers at the rites for Jack K. Kurtz, 31, held here Wednesday afternoon were, Gerald Thielke of Algoma; William Krahn, Green Bay; Harvey Coleman, Mountain; and Robert Shellman, Herbert Bramschreiber and Howard Eslien of Oconto Falls. The Rev. R.L. Greene of Merrill, former Oconto Falls pastor, and the Rev. Huntley C. Lewis, officiated at the serviced held in the Methodist Church. Eugene Behling was the soloist.

Mr. Kurtz, who lives in Neenah with his family, died late Saturday afternoon at the Veteran Hospital at Wood, Wis. Survivors are his wife, the former JoAnn Berberich of Washington, D.C., four young sons, his parents, and a sister. Military honors were conducted by the members of the Eich-Sankey Post of the American Legion.
