He was born in Green Bay to John J. and Martha R. (Olson) Lund Sr. on September 13, 1981. Currently John was a Senior in the Class of 2000 in the Suring School System. He was inspired to be a police officer after graduation from High School. He enjoyed his German shepherd, Sarge, and loved being outside. John was an accomplished poet and liked music. John enjoyed helping people in any way he could. He was currently employed at Waubee Lodge.
Survivors include his father, John J. Lund Sr., of Suring; his mother, Martha (Daniel) Richardson, of Cecil; two brothers, Greg (Rebecca) Thirion, of Green Bay; Kevin Lund at home; his sister, Kristen (David) Bruegge, of Morrison and their daughter, Kristy; a niece, Shana Thirion, of Green Bay; paternal grandparents, James (Pearl) Lund, of Green Bay; maternal grandparents, John (Audrey) Blatter, of Cecil; aunts, uncles, cousins; special friend, Robert (Marlene) Thompson, of Suring.
Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ray Olson, in 1994.
Friends called at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Saturday January 8, 2000 from 10 a.m. until funeral services 11 a.m. with Pastor Russell Kampfer officiating.
