He was born to John L. and Marie (Glime) Kinziger April 9, 1953 in Lena. John owned and operated the Hunters and Fishermans Bar in Lena for 24 years. He also coached basketball for Grade School and High School and served as President of the Lena Wildcat Booster Club for many years. John enjoyed golfing, Packer games and spending time with his friends
Surviving are his wife, Laurie Kinziger; one son, Jeff (Krista) Kinziger, Green Bay; one daughter, Katie Kinziger, Appleton; his mother, Marie Kinziger, Lena; two brothers, Bill Nelson, Fence; and father-in-law, Jack Kowalczyk, Lena. John was preceded in death by his father, John L. Kinziger.
Friends called at the RhodesCharapata Funeral Home, Lena. A wake service was held. The funeral Mass was 11 a.m. Monday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena with Father Frank Schrage officiating, Interment at St. Mary's Of The Lakes Cemetery, Lakewood,
