He died Saturday, April 26 at Community Memorial Hospital. Born March 3, 1924 in Oconto Falls to Mr. and Mrs. Jerome (Gertrude Bruening) Blaser, Sr., he grew up in Chase where he attended North Chase grade school. On July 23, 1949 he married Agnes Weslowski in Chase. He lived in the Oconto Falls area for most of his life where he farmed and worked as Director of Transportation for the Oconto Falls School District, retiring in 1983. In 1991 he purchased the Falls Family Restaurant and operated it until 1996. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where he ushered and was a server for funeral masses. He was an honorary member of the Oconto Falls FFA.
Survivors include seven children, Ray (Sue) Blaser of Oneida, Tom (Linda) Blaser, Rich (Faye) Blaser of Oconto Falls, Dave (Pam) Blaser of Edgar, Mrs. Greg (Kathy) Bauer of Stevens Point, Mrs. Jim (Chris) Sievert of Green Bay, Don Blaser of Fond du Lac; 16 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Mrs. Norbert (Marie) Maternoski of Pulaski, Julie Schmidt of Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes on Nov. 29, 1985; three brothers, Carl, Alten and James Blaser; and one granddaughter, Laura Blaser.
