HOWARD - Jeanne M. Schroeder, 81, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2000 at a Green Bay hospital.

Jeanne was born on February 19, 1918 in Oconto to the late James (Herman) and Irene (Connerton) Gudden. In 1935 she graduated from Oconto High School. On May 17, 1943 she married Lawrence B. Schroeder at Annunciation Catholic Church. After her retirement from the Brown County Veteran's Service Office, Jeanne moved to Keshena where she and her husband, Lawrence, lived on Legend Lake. In 1991 she moved back to the village of Howard. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Bettie Schroeder, John Schroeder, Jeff an Debbie Schroeder, all of Green Bay; one granddaughter, Katie Lyn Schroeder; a sister-in-law, Edna Gudden, Stoughton, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; a brother, John W. Gudden. Jeanne had many good friends that need to be thanked. They are Carl and Margaret Peeters, Marion Piehl, Eileen Blaney and Joy Johnson.

The funeral was held Sunday, January 9 at the Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay, with the Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
