JULIUS F. MAKOS, 78, 114 Victor St., Coleman, died Tuesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m.; wake service at 7:30, Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Saints Francis & Wenceslaus Church in Coleman.

Julius Makos Julius F. Makos, 78, 114 Victor St., Coleman, died suddenly Tuesday, May 18 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.

Born June 3, 1920 in Oconto to the late Mr. And Mrs. Michael (Mary Sanders) Makos, he married the former Betty Kadlec on June 1, 1946 in Green Bay. The couple resided in the Rost Lake area, Green Bay and Milwaukee for 18 years. They also lived in Tempe, AZ. for four years and Coleman for 20 years. His wife preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 1994. He was a mason for T&T Builders at Wescott Lake in Oconto County. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Kalbes-Seewald American Legion Post of Coleman.

Survivors include one son, Calvin of Coleman; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Art (Alice) Lentz, Mrs. Gerald (Viola) Parson, both of Rost Lake, and Irene .Gieryic of Florida; two brothers, Pete (Joan) Makos of Rost Lake, Bill Makos of Kelly Lake.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Makos; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Makos.

Friends may call at Rhodes--Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 20 with a parish wake service at 7:30 p.m. There will be visitation at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. John Hephner will officiate with interment in Kadlec Cemetery, Town of Spruce. The Coleman American Legion will conduct Military Rites at graveside.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Lentz, Mike Blish, Dennis Makos, Butch Schuessler, John Kadlec and Larry Brickner.
