John E. Robaidek, 72, Sampson, died on Friday, January 12, 2001. He was born on October 23, 1928 in the town of Chase, to the late Frank and Clara Kolakowski Robaidek. He married Nancy Desreumaux on October 24, 1964 in Oconto Falls. He was a lifelong resident of Sampson where he operated a Dairy Farm for 40 years. Prior to that, he was self-employed for 12 years as a milk truck driver and worked at his father's cheese factory in Sampson. John was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chase his entire life. He was also a member of the Oconto County Rural Urban Committee. In addition, John was a member of the Oconto County Holstein Breeders Association, the Oconto County Farm Bureau and the Oconto County DHIA. He was an Oconto County Board Supervisor from 1992 to 1994.

John is survived by his wife Nancy, and seven children: Ann David Jerovetz, Green Bay; Susan Loyal Reierson, Watertown; Jon Wendy Robaidek, Wisconsin Rapoids; James Charmaine Ro-baidek, Shawano; Jerrold Robai-dek, Madison; Joel Robaidek, Eau Claire; Jay Robaidek, Madison; seven grandchildren; his sisters, Lucille Rudolph Kvasnica, New Berlin; Rita Gantenbein, West Bend, and Jon Robert Jankowski of Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Robaidek, Oregon, WI, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Eugene Robaidek; an infant brother; two brothers-in-law, Delbert Gantenbein, James Bud Desreumaux; and niece, Barbara Mankowski.
