Joseph E. Olson, 72, Oconto, passed away February 13, 2001 in Pewaukee at the home of his brother Bill. Joe was born October 29, 1928 at Oconto to the late Joseph and Mary Wroblewski Olson. He worked as Deputy City Clerk for the City of Oconto and served in US Army from 1950 until 1952. Joe worked for many years for G.E.T. Construction in Milwaukee. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Joe is survived by three brothers Allen Olson, Lucerne Valley, CA; Claude Olson, Denver, CO; William Lois Olson, Pewaukee; two sisters Violet Floren Mileski, Kingsford, MI; Alice Glen Martin, Ramona, CA; seven nephews, 11 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Gladys Wiedenhaft, Mary Ellen Duschene and Laura Jane Olson.

Friends called on Friday at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 17, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto. Military rites conducted by the Jones-Modrow-Young Post of the American Legion.
