COUNTY PIONEER CALLED IN DEATH
J. Dexter Colson Passed Away Saturday of Influenza-Pneumonia

Has Been Resident of Oconto County for Past Sixty Years

J. Dexter Colson, a resident of Oconto County for the past sixty years died early Saturday morning, having been ill about three weeks with influenza-pneumonia.

Deceased was born in the state of Maine seventy-two years ago.

Besides his wife Mr. Colson is survived by five sons, Herbert, of the town of Oconto, Nelson of Oconto city, Wallace, in a camp in Louisiana, Charles of Lena, and Roy at home, and five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude McGuire of Mobridge, S. Dak., Mrs. Nora Erickson of North Dakota, Mrs. Ida Erickson of Appleton Junction, Mrs. Arthur LeMay of the town of Little River and Mrs. Mary Jarvey of Wabeno.

Funeral services for deceased were held Sunday afternoon by Rev. E.W. Wright at Evergreen cemetery where interment was made.
