He resided in Townsend. Cook had been
in apparent good health until his son Jesse joined the naval forces and
went to San Diego, California. Since then he began to fail without anything
being apparently wrong with him physically. He was born in Chilton in 1871
and for many years lived in Townsend. He died in Oconto where he had been
receiving treatment. He was buried in the Oconto Evergreen Cemetery from
the MacQueen Chapel. .
