JOHN A. RAMSAY, 66, OCONTO, SUCCUMBS 
Life-Long Resident Is Victim of Heart Disease. 

OCONTO, Wis. - John A. Ramsay, 66, well known Oconto resident, died suddenly at his home, 1439 Main Street, at 6:30 this morning of heart disease. The body was removed to the Gallagher Funeral home, where it will remain until the funeral arrangements for which were not completed today, pending arrival of relatives from distant points. It may be held Thursday afternoon.

Ramsay was born in Oconto Sept. 14, 1870, and has resided here all his life. For about 50 years he has been employed as an accountant for the Holt Lumber company. He also served the city as an alderman and as a member of the school board during his lifetime.

The survivors are nine children, Mrs. J. Dalton, Chicago; Mrs. George Theis, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Elmer Goodland, Racine; Mrs. Carl Waterman, Appleton; Mrs. Ernest Sucharda and Mrs. Orbie Francis, Oconto; William, Sagola, Mich.; James R., San Gabriel, Calif., and John M., Oconto; also one brother, Guy Ramsay at Cuyuna(?), Minn., and ten grandchildren.

He was a member and officer of two Oconto Masonic bodies, Pine lodge F. and A. M, and Oconto chapter, Eastern Star.
